MUX/DEMUX circuit using plasmonic antennas for LiFi and WiFi uplink and downlink transmission

Abstract: A microring-embedded Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI) system is proposed to form the multiplexing (demultiplexing) for wireless and light fidelity (WiFi and LiFi) uplink and downlink transmission. The system consists of two center microrings at the transmitter and a center microring at the receiver with two small rings along the sides of the center microrings.
