Myiasis in a Neglected Elderly: Urgent Action Needed in South America

Abstract: Background Myiasis is an infestation by fly larvae. Some species exclusively affect humans, contaminating wounds, mucous membranes, and other tissues. It is a disease with marked socioeconomic connotations.
