Myocardial bioenergetic abnormalities in experimental uremia

Abstract: Purpose: Cardiac bioenergetics are known to be abnormal in experimental uremia as exemplified by a reduced phosphocreatine (PCr)/adenosine triphosphate (ATP) ratio.
