Abstract:Due to the size limitation of nanostructures in transparent superhydrophobic (TS) coatings, it is a formidable challenge to construct a TS coating with acceptable mechanical durability. The matrix should connect with nanoparticles and the substrate with more chemical bonds to provide the essential mechanical robustness of the coating layer. In this study, methylacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane (MEMO) that has three Si−OCH 3 groups was polymerized to PMEMO and used as an "ideal" adhesive for the fabrication of du… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
