NaOH/urea aqueous solutions improving properties of regenerated‐cellulosic fabrics

Abstract: The application of sodium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide containing urea solutions has been utilized for regenerated-cellulosic material activation. The treatments resulted in the reorganization of cellulose fibers, hence accessibility and reactivity.
