The father does not seem to take any responsibility for the child, which corroborates the findings of Granato and Aiello-Vaisberg (2013), requiring the mother to take full responsibility for the child. Winnicott (2002) states that given the demands of caring for a baby, the father "may not like the part he is responsible for and is not capable of dividing with the mother the huge responsibility that a baby should always represent" (p.15).…”
