Nationwide survey on the barriers to converting turfgrass lawns to pollinator-friendly native wildflowers

Abstract: The abundance and diversity of insect pollinators around the world is declining and habitat loss is a leading cause. Turfgrass lawns cover a vast area in North America and provide a great opportunity for habitat restoration to native wildflowers by the general public.
