Abstract:Chicory (Cichorium intybus L., 2n = 18), belonging to the Asteraceae family, exhibits significant edible, medicinal, and pasture values. Moderate research has been performed on identifying Chicory species’ chromosomes using fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) and C-banding.
