Negative interactions between humans and Asiatic black bears (Ursus thibetanus) in northern Pakistan

Abstract: The conservation of the vulnerable Asiatic black bear (Ursus thibetanus) in Pakistan is challenged by retaliatory killing, driven by negative interactions between people and bears, such as livestock depredation.
