Abstract:Conducting polymer poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) and a graft copolymer of P3HT with poly(acrylic acid) (P3HT-g-PAA) were synthesized. The structure and molecular dynamics of P3HT and P3HT-g-PAA were investigated by solidstate NMR (SSNMR), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), Raman, UV−vis, and fluorescence spectroscopies and X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique. The spectroscopic data confirmed the grafting of the PAA chains from the P3HT backbone at the molar ratio of ≈3:1 and significant changes in molecular dyna… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
