Abstract:Mucosal melanoma represents an uncommon melanoma subtype. Wide excision has long represented the standard therapeutic approach. Unfortunately, there is a high relapse rate and mortality. Neoadjuvant therapy with ipilimumab plus nivolumab has shown significant activity in cutaneous melanoma.
