Neonatal lower GIS obstruction with typical radiographic findings: Meconium Ileus

Abstract: Meconium ileus is a lower gastrointestinal obstruction syndrome due to the impaction of abnormally thick and sticky meconium in the terminal ileum. It is most often early manifestation of cystic fibrosis. This is a case of surgically proved meconium ileus, whose genetic profile is negative for cystic fibrosis.
