Network models of electromagnetic actuators

Abstract: The paper presents network models that are used in the analysis and design of electromagnetic actuators. The attention is focused on the magnetic networks. Both permeance and reluctance networks are analyzed. The presented network models are formed using the finite element methods. The interpolating functions of edge and facet finite element are applied in the calculations of branch permeances and reluctances.
