Networking: technologies and challenges for network-centric operations

Abstract: This paper examines some of the challenges facing the community in providing radio communications to enable information systems for military operations. We believe that much of the on-going/completed work is necessary, but not sufficient, to provide the military Network Centric Operations, which integrates military's network centric enterprise with network centric warfare.
