Neuroendoscopic lavage and continuous drainage of ventricles: Treatment of pyocephalus in a newborn

Abstract: Pyocephalus/Cerebral ventricular empyema is a serious life threatening complication of acute pyogenic meningitis. The primary treatment of ventriculitis is administration of antibiotics.
