Abstract:Mathematical modeling of the rapid
expansion of supercritical solution
(nitrogen, nitrogen–water, propane–methanol–phenanthrene)
and formation of particles was performed. A 2D model of expanded supercritical
fluid jet and unique calculation algorithms were developed and applied
for the calculations. The calculations allowed determination of jet
boundaries, shape, and position of normal and barrel shock waves,
condensation front, and particles size distribution. Parameter sensitivity
analysis of the model helpe… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
