New Boron-Nitrogen containing modified multifunctional alkylphenolate additives to motor oils

Abstract: By carrying out condensation reactions for alkylphenols and methylene-bis-alkylphenols with amines, alkanolamines and formaldehyde, working with boric acid and the neutralization of the obtained product with calcium hydroxide, new boron-nitrogencontaining alkylphenolate, additives have been synthesized (AKI-114B, AKI-212B, AKI-115B, AKI-210B, AKI-214B, AKI-219B).The structure of the obtained - boron esters (derivatives of phenolate) has been studied through the use of the IR spectroscopy method.
