New developments in wound therapy (part 2): honey and nanocrystalline silver

Abstract: The requirement to manage complicated wounds in practice is commonplace, and treatment options are constantly evolving. This article series provides an update on some of the most recent developments in wound management. The reader should be mindful that existing techniques (e.g. wet-to-dry dressings, foam dressings etc.) are well proven, and new techniques may not always be preferable.
