Abstract:This volume is devoted to the latest developments in the physics of electrons in one-dimensional condensed matter systems. Particular attention is devoted to spin-orbit coupling and its consequences, that range from topological edge and bound states to the identification of possible host systems for odd frequency superconductivity. The possibility of using the methods of one-dimensional physics to describe higher dimensional correlated system is also addressed. The non-equilibrium properties are then inspected… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
