Abstract:Dung beetles, belonging to the subfamily Scarabaeinae, represent a globally distributed group of insects known for their scavenging behaviour, feeding primarily on animal excrement. Their ecological importance lies in their central role in recycling organic matter, with a particular focus on manure.
