New host record and geographical distribution of Nematoda parasitizing Hypophthalmus marginatus Valenciennes (Siluriformes) from the Tocantins River, Brazil

Abstract: Hypophthalmus marginatus is among the most commercialized fish from the Amazon region, with fish fillets exported to Southeastern Brazil and other countries. In the present study, the H. marginatus analyzed were parasitized by third-stage larvae of Hysterothylacium sp. and Anisakis sp.
