New intuitionistic fuzzy parametric divergence measures and score function-based CoCoSo method for decision-making problems

Abstract: The present study introduces a decision-making approach with the combined compromise solution (CoCoSo) under intuitionistic fuzzy sets (IFSs) named as the IF-CoCoSo method based on proposed divergence measures and score function. The aim of the presented approach is to obtain an effective solution for multi-criteria decision-making problems on IFSs context. In this line, a new procedure is presented to derive the criteria weights using generalized score function and parametric divergence measures of IFSs. To c… Show more

“…Zavadskas et al [18] planned a novel extension of the simple weighted sum product model under an intuitionistic fuzzy environment. Tripathi et al [19] designed a decision-making method, called IF-CoCoSo, using the combined compromise solution (CoCoSo) with parametric divergence measures on IFSs to deal with the medical MCDA problem. An MCDA model was discussed by Deb et al [20], called the "intuitionistic fuzzy improved MARCOS (IF-IMARCOS)", using the double normalization processes, with the aim of solving the problem of enterprise resource planning system selection.…”

“…IFS has a lot of applications in the shape of modification, utilization, and combination with other information; for instance, Atanassov [22] invented the interval-valued IFS (IVIFS), Ejegwa and Agbetayo [23] exposed the similarity and distance measures, Tripathi et al [24] evaluated the divergence measures, Sharma et al [25] presented the analytical hierarchical process, Rani and Garg [26] derived the trigonometric operators, Hezam et al [27] examined the MAIRCA techniques, Gong and Wang [28] evaluated different types of inequalities, Jana and Pal [29] presented the decision-making problems, Garg et al [30] derived the Schweizer-Sklar prioritized operators, Mahmood et al [31] exposed the power aggregation operators, and finally, Shi et al [32] examined the Aczel-Alsina power operators.…”

“…To evade the concerns of FSs, the notion of the intuitionistic fuzzy set (IFS) [23] has been proposed with three parameters: the TD, the FD and the indeterminacy degree (ID) satisfying the condition that the sum of TD and FD is ≤1. Since its appearance, many theories and applications have been discussed in the literature [24][25][26].…”
