New Method To Assess Service Quality in Care Homes For The Elderly

Abstract: -A simple but dependable electronic device, Con-Dis, has been developed to gain reliable information on elderly persons' perceptions of their well-being. The device has been tested and proven to be technically functional and dependable. It was tested in two care homes for the elderly and two private homes to evaluate whether it provided reliable information about the service quality. This report illustrates the practical usage of the device and shows its efficiency in gathering reliable service quality informa… Show more

“…Researcher pointed out that private care providers in elderly care pay more attention to services and do better than the public care (Stolt et al, 2010). In addition, some scholars believe that assistive devices and solutions for elderly care services will have a positive impact on the quality of elderly care services (Reijula et al, 2010;Siegel et al, 2014), and more elderly people can enjoy high-quality and comprehensive services (Xu & Zhang, 2021).…”

“…The quality of elderly care services has gradually attracted the attention of scholars. The existing literature has carried out research on the quality of elderly care services from many aspects, including focusing on the quality of nursing homes from the perspectives of medical quality (Chang, 2006;Fahey et al, 2003;Heras et al, 2008;Lee et al, 2018;Naylor et al, 2016), public service (Leung & Qi, 2019;Supromin & Choonhakhlai, 2017;Yu et al, 2017;Zhang et al, 2019), the satisfaction with the service quality of nursing homes (Chao et al, 2016;Kazemi & Kajonius, 2020;Stolt et al, 2010;Zhang et al, 2016), as well as the auxiliary equipment and solutions for elderly care services (Reijula et al, 2010;Siegel et al, 2014;Xu & Zhang, 2021). However, there is a lack of analysis from the perspective of supply chain systems, and no attention is paid to the impact of the upstream and downstream of the elderly care service chain on the quality of elderly care services.…”

“…C (1) C (3) C (4) C ( 5 Since the particle cluster weight of each node differs, it represents that node's observation is of different effectiveness about robot's current position. The inter-node resampling and innernode resampling processes make sure that nodes with better observation can receive higher evaluation and thus produce more copy of its "good" samples.…”
