New physics models and the left–right asymmetry $A_{{\rm LR}}^{t}$ in the processespp→tS^±at the LHC

Abstract

The top polarization left-right asymmetry A t LR related to the processes pp → tS ± , in which S ± represent the charged scalars, is almost free from theoretical uncertainties. In the contexts of the top triangle moose model, left-right twin Higgs model, Higgs triplet model, and the 3-3-1 model with right-handed neutrinos, we calculate the left-and right-hadronic cross sections, the left-right asymmetry A t LR , and further discuss the possibility of discriminating these new physics models via measuring these observables at the LHC.
