In the Pantanal (Brazil's wetlands) only 4 species of Elachistocleis have been recorded to date: Elachistocleis bicolor, E. cesarii, E. matogrosso and E. corumbaensis (Frost 2018). The latter species was recently described based on specimens from the Parque Municipal de Piraputangas and Maciço do Urucum, both located in the central region of the Brazilian Pantanal in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul (Piva et al 2017).…”
