Abstract:To achieve high data rate, futuristic wavelength division multiplexing passive optical network (WDM-PON) has pursued due to capability of multiplexing individual wavelength. This paper illustrates the possibility of different data rates along with distance to solve the challenges for next-generation WDM-PON systems.
