Abstract: We present a case of a 3‐year‐old, male Border Collie with severe hip dysplasia and osteoarthritis undergoing total hip replacement, notably having a history of a previous hip surgery with inadequate epidural analgesia. Our objective was to evaluate epidural efficacy before surgery using nociceptive threshold measurement.
