According to the development of international military equipment, the mainstream fighters in the first half of the 21st century will be the sixth-generation fighters. Today, one of the characteristics of the sixth-generation fighters may be “no vertical tail”, so this work will explore the absence of vertical tails in this paper. Under the premise of a stable surface, the preliminary aerodynamic shape design of the sixth-generation fighter. And to study the openloop and closed-loop dynamic control characteristics of such aircraft. Finally, the preliminary design scheme of the aircraft without vertical tail is obtained.
