Nonlinear Hanle effect in an open V-type level system

Abstract: We carried out an exact density matrix analysis for the nonlinear Hanle effect in an open V-type level system. Steady-state analytical solutions of the Liouville equation have been obtained and the dependence of the populations of the upper and lower states on the applied magnetic field is discussed.
