Nonlinear liquid crystal Nano-metamaterials

Abstract: Nano-metamaterials have been shown to exhibit unusual and configurable optical responses. In this paper we study visible-IR nonlinear transmission and all-optical switching enhancement of liquid crystals and neat organic liquids by dispersion of metallic nanospheres.
