Abstract:Epidemiological studies have revealed a correlation between diabetes mellitus and elevated blood glucose levels with atrial fibrillation (AF). Blood glucose levels were assessed in critically ill atrial fibrillation patients to determine whether they correlate with 28-day mortality.
