Abstract:This article investigates the suitability of constrained Gaussian process regression in predicting nonlinear mechanical responses of material systems with notably reduced uncertainties. This study reinforces the conventional Gaussian processes with mechanics‐informed prior knowledge observed in various kinematic responses.
