Abstract:Polymer nano-composites consist of two or more constituents with at least one being of nanoscale dimension. Being naturally abundant, affordable, non-toxic and biocompatible, clay-based minerals and biopolymers are advantageous to afford eco-friendly nanocomposites, especially useful for biological applications.
