Notes Marriages in the Counter Culture

Abstract: Impressionistic studies of "counter-culture" couples suggest (a) several varieties of a "return of the conventional," (b) a reduced role of sexuality, in the sense of its "demystification," (c) an attitude of approach to emotional tension, and (d) dependence on a psychology of plenty. Possible connections among these four kinds of phenomena are suggested.
