Novel add-drop filter based on serial and parallel photonic crystal ring resonators (PCRR)

Abstract: Photonic crystal ring resonators (PCRR) as momentous candidates for future photonic crystal integrated circuits (PCICs) draw worldwide attention. In this paper, different configurations are proposed based on single, parallel, and serial PCRRs. To be precise, the different coupling lengths and alignments have been discussed in double and triple PCRRs in parallel and serial configurations to achieve the highest efficiency concerning the desired applications such as an add-drop filter (ADF) and a power splitter. … Show more

“…It's important to note that each blockchain has its own set of block fields; however, many blockchains include the following: (This is the block's header; this is the block's data.) The block is then transmitted to all network peers after it has been validated [24]. In any blockchain, a genesis block is the first block.…”

“…Before quantum computers become widely available, the shift to cryptography that is immune to the effects of quantum computing must be completed. These adjustments are presently in the process of being made [20,21].…”

“…A single EDFA is capable of amplification of many wavelength signals at the same time. Because of the interaction with Erbium ions, signals are magnified [3][4][5]. It is possible to equalize the Gain of EDFA with the use of several Pumping methods; nevertheless, these methods are chosen because of their characteristics such as high gain, low noise, and wide bandwidth [6].…”
