Novel Approach to Restore Integrity to Downhole Safety Valves from Damaged Landing

Abstract: Well Integrity management standards require wells to be equipped with two independent barriers to protect against uncontrolled flow of hydrocarbons from the reservoir to the environment. For producing wells the two barriers are usually the downhole safety valve and the surface X-mas tree.
