Abstract:A rapid, simple & specific fluorimetric method has been described for estimation of Sumatriptan succinate in its pharmaceutical preparation and in human plasma. The proposed procedure is based on the measurement of the fluorescence intensity of studied drug in sulphuric acid / methanol at 350 nm (λex 286 nm).
