Abstract:Imipramine is a tricyclic antidepressant typically reserved for patients with treatment‐resistant mood disorders. A rare side effect of long‐term use of imipramine is a slowly progressive melanin‐associated, slate gray‐blue hyperpigmentation of the skin in a photo‐distributed pattern.
