Abstract:In System-on-a-Chip designs, crosstalk effects cause serious problems, such as wire propagation delay, noise, and power dissipation. In this article, we propose two new bus coding methods to reduce the dynamic power dissipation and wire propagation delay on buses efficiently. The proposed methods reduce both the dynamic power dissipation and wire propagation delay more than the existing bus coding methods do. Experimental results show that the crosstalk detector bus invert (CDBI) method reduces coupling activi… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
