Novel Method for Measuring Fine Particle Distribution in Shock-Induced Atomization

Abstract: The objective of this study is to obtain the particle size distribution of fine droplets formed by a breakup behind the shock wave. The algorithm for measuring the droplet diameter using the shadow sizing method was evaluated.
