Abstract:Hypersonic aircraft have been rapidly developed in recent years both theoretically and experimentally. Aerothermoelastic simulation is very challenging due to its inherent complexity, but physical tests are a workable approach. Flutter tests with variable speed are a popular alternative to hypersonic tests which provide nonstationary structural response data. This paper proposes a nonstationarity assessment method based on energy distribution in the time-frequency domain. The proposed method reveals the nonsta… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
