Novel organotin (IV) complexes derived from 4,4′‐oxybisbenzoic acid: synthesis, structure, in vitro cytostatic activity and binding interaction with BSA
Abstract:Six novel organotin (IV) complexes, [(Me 3 Sn) 2 (H 2 O) 2 L] (1), [(R 3 Sn) 2 L] n (R = Me 2, R = n-Bu 3), [(Ph 3 Sn) 2 L] (4), [Me 2 SnL] n (5), [(Me 2 Sn) 2 L(μ 3 -O)] n (6) have been designed and synthesized by the reactions of 4,4′-oxybisbenzoic acid (H 2 L) and triorganotin (IV) chloride or oxide. All the complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, NMR, ESI-Mass, PXRD and X-ray crystallography.The single crystal diffraction reveals that complexes 1 and 4 represent dinuclear tin monome… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
