Novel timing synchronization technique for public safety communication systems employing heterogeneous cognitive radio

Abstract: A novel synchronization technique is proposed for a heterogeneous cognitive radio combining a public safety mobile communication system (PMCS) with a commercial mobile wireless communication system (CMWCS).
