Abstract:The experimental data on nuclear emulsion at 800 GeV have been analysed to study the nuclear effects and intermittency in two dimensions in terms of the factorial moments. The fractal dimension and the phase structure function are found to be in agreement with the theoretical predictions. We also evaluate slope ratios in one dimension for the cosmic ray data and in two dimensions for the 800 GeV data, for different reactions and different primary energies. Our results exhibit universality of the intermittent b… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
