Numerical analysis of an influence of oxygen adsorption at a SnO2 surface on the electronic parameters of the induced depletion layer

Abstract: In this work the influence of oxidation of a SnO 2 thin film on the development of a depletion layer was studied by using computer simulations. The surface potential and in-depth potential profiles in the depletion region were calculated by solving the Poisson-Boltzmann equation for finite SnO 2 flat grains (partially or totally depleted) using slab geometry. The effect of the donor (oxygen vacancies in the bulk) mobility on electrical potential inside grains with different thicknesses was discussed. Furthermo… Show more

“…It has been shown theoretically and experimentally that oxygen species affect the electrical and optical properties of metallic oxides. 43,68,69 The carrier concentration and broad peak in the PL spectra reflects the same. Anh et al 70 observe that the electrical current is linearly proportional to the amount of oxygen vacancies.…”

Ushbu gazlarni nazorat qilish uchun oziqovqat va kimyo sanoati, qishloq xo'jaligi, tibbiyot va hokazolarda foydali bo'lgan turli xil sensorlarni yaratish bo'yicha katta say-harakatlar amalga oshirildi.…”

“…After having demonstrated the equivalence of the approaches, in what follows, we will follow Lantto's work and his notation 6 to describe the effect of oxygen in-and out-diffusion in the formation of intergranular barrier. Now, assuming that oxygen vacancies are the only relevant charged particles (strictly, this is only valid for fully depleted slabs 17 ) by resorting to the Poisson's equation the potential V(x) can be deduced to be…”
