Abstract

Highlights Performance analysis of a single-stage vapor compression cooling system  Analysis of energy, exergy, and environmental impact of R449A, R404A refrigerants  The mass flow rate of R449A is approximately 13% lower than that of R404A, its exergy efficiency is 5% higher.  R449A was found to be approximately 5% lower than R404A in life cycle climate performance analysis.
