Numerical Simulation Analysis of Three-phase Submerged Arc Furnace Using the Multi-field Method

Abstract: To reveal the distribution law of the multi-physics field in the smelting of the submerged arc furnace, the temperature distribution in the furnace for a given electrode diameter was studied, and the multi-physics field coupling model of the submerged arc furnace was established, based on Maxwell’s equation, Ohm’s law, numerical analysis of fluid governing equations and heat transfer mechanism.
