Abstract:Present paper studies the rarefied flow of binary Neon–Argon mixture in plane channel induced by pressure gradient and counteracting drag by moving walls. The problem is studied numerically using Direct Simulation Monte Carlo method. It is demonstrated that drag force induced by motion of channel walls leads to the effect of enhanced mixture separation.
