Numerical Simulation of the Flow in Two-Phase Supersonic Underexpanded Gas–Particle Jets Exhausting into a Slotted Submerged Space

Abstract: A simplified 2D model for calculating two-phase gas–particle flows in a slot space has been developed. The model can be used for fast calculation and estimation of supersonic-flow parameters in the slot space. Using this model, a numerical simulation of the flow in two-phase gas–particle supersonic jets exhausting into a submerged slot space bounded by two parallel disks was performed.
