Numerical simulation of three-dimensional incompressible turbulent flows using lattice boltzmann method

Abstract: Abstract. Numerical simulation using the lattice Boltzmann Method is presented for three-dimensional decaying homogeneous isotropic turbulence. Fifteen-velocity cubic lattice model is used for the simulation.The LBGK method is able to reproduce the dynamic of decaying turbulence and could be an alternative for solving the Navier-Stokes equations.
